Dining Tables Should Be Beautiful

Your dining table should be a beautiful piece of furniture that reflects your personality and sets the tone of your dining room.  It is, after all, where you will entertain and feed your guests. If you are looking for new dining furniture, start with the table, as that is the most important piece in the dining room. If you choose the buffet first because you love it, the matching dining table may not be what you were looking for. Check out the base; does it have large legs or a pedestal? It makes a difference if everyone in your family is over six feet tall. Is it wide enough that you can put dishes in the middle without cramping everyone’s plates and cutlery?
